March 1: the Pen Parentis fellowship opens for submissions – check our Fellowship page for guidelines and new word count. If you are a sustaining member of Pen Parentis check your EMAIL for your special link to forego the submission fee.
March 4-8: The annual AWP Conference is in Baltimore this year. Find Pen Parentis at our Main Table #734 with constant author signings — or stop in for a more intimate conversation at our Outpost Table #138 with Full Bleed. We are co-hosting a fabulous dance party this year with live local band and celebrated DJ — drinks and snacks and socializing between several organizations. Meet at the Conference Center to walk over in a Pen Parentis Parent Parade — check our tables at the Bookfair for meeting information – and remember you MUST RSVP for the dance party.
March 5 (NYC in PERSON): Sarah Farivar-Hayes (who wrote her book while in the Pen Parentis Cycle of Support) has a book event on March 5th, at Studio 79 in the Upper West Side
