Gather with other writers, parents, arts-lovers and the general public on August 21 (Friday) in Lower Manhattan to celebrate the good work of Pen Parentis at a hidden gem in the Financial District of NYC.
Festivities begin at 6:30 at ART TO WARE, a local wearable-art gallery founded by Lesley Ware in 2022. Wine, snacks, and socializing with interesting people (remember that?) — all are welcome with an RSVP —
You will also enjoy two Pen Parentis success stories: Betsy Golden Kellem finished her circus history book JUMPING THROUGH HOOPS got an agent and published with Feminist Press while in an accountability group. Her compatriot Bex Fine-Firesheets was raising a six-year old while working on her memoir ALL ONE BODY, launching in 2027.
Both will read from their work and the authors as well as the founders of Pen Parentis and Art To Ware will be mingling with the audience. Join us!
